This is not your typical fantasy romance. It’s darker. Grittier. And honestly? Way more intense than I expected going in.
I just posted my honest book review on the blog, and if you’ve been seeing this one floating around and wondering if it’s worth it—you’re going to want to read this first.
🖤 What This Book Is About (No Spoilers)
We follow Brexley, a human raised in privilege in a world torn apart by war between fae and humans. But everything changes when she’s thrown into a brutal prison—where survival isn’t guaranteed, and humans are at the very bottom of the food chain.
Inside, she meets Warwick… dangerous, powerful, and very much not someone she should be drawn to.
Think: ⚔️ Prison survival games 🔥 Slow-burn enemies-to-lovers tension 🖤 Dark, violent, high-stakes world
💭 My Honest Thoughts
I’m not going to lie… this book is intense.
The world is brutal (like… really brutal)
The tension? Absolutely painful in the best way
The romance is a slow burn that will test your patience
And the vibe is very dystopian fantasy meets fae chaos
There were moments where I was shocked, stressed, and completely hooked all at once.
But… it’s not a light read. This one leans heavily into violence and survival, and that’s something you’ll want to be prepared for.
And if you’re already thinking, okay I need to experience this chaos for myself, you can grab your copy here: 👉 [Shop Savage Lands on Amazon]
📖 Want My Full Breakdown?
I go way deeper on the blog—talking about the spice level, pacing, characters, and whether this is actually worth continuing in the series.
If you love darker romantasy with tension, grit, and characters who have to fight for everything… this might be your next obsession.
But if you’re unsure? That’s exactly why I wrote the review.
Happy reading,
